Our story
Born from a passion for travel and murals.
The idea was born in 2019, during the Digital Culture MBA our founder Margarida Galafassi took at Unisinos, wanting to unite two great passions: travel and street art.
The name literally means art in the city. The German nod is a tribute to Berlin — a city that breathes art, politics, urban occupation, counterculture and creative freedom.
The visual identity draws from Keith Haring and African adinkras: an iconic, organic and unmistakable composition. Because ÜRBE ART is art on the STREET.
